The Beijing Music Festival and the Capital Museum have teamed up to offer holders of Beijing Music Festival ticket stubs discounted admission to the exhibitionMaize, Gold and Jaguar – A Grand Exhibition of Ancient Maya and Andean Civilizations, giving audiences an opportunity to explore different cultures through music and history. Featuring around 800 artifacts from more than 20 cultural institutions in Mexico and Peru, the exhibition offers a glimpse into 3,000 years of Maya and Andean civilizations. It remains open through October 18. Running from October 9 to 20, the 29th Beijing Music Festival brings together renowned international conductors, acclaimed orchestras and artists from China and abroad, with a diverse program including opera, symphonic music and world music.
